Polydron is een eenvoudig bouwsysteem. De duurzame plastic vormen passen aan elkaar door middel van een uniek kliksysteem, dat het mogelijk maakt driedimensionale figuren te creëren. Polydron is ontworpen om het praktisch uitwerken en onderzoeken van verschillende mogelijkheden op wiskundig gebied, zoals:

- Vorm en ruimte

- Mozaïek

- Sorteren en benoemen

- Probleem oplossen

- Ontwikkeling van wiskundige en taalkundige terminologie

 

Het materiaal word op allerlei niveaus van onderwijs gebruikt, zoals:
